Directions from Vancouver and Victoria:

Total trip time is roughly 5 hours from Vancouver.
Total trip time is roughly 3 hours from Victoria.

If you are departing from Vancouver, you will take the ferry from either Horseshoe Bay or Tsawwassen to either Departure Bay or Duke Point in the city of Nanaimo on Vancouver Island.

There are two options for the drive up to Denman.

One, the scenic route-Highway 19A

Two, the Inland Highway-Highway 19

The exit off the Inland Highway is Exit 101 for Buckley Bay. The Ferry Terminal faces you as you arrive at the traffic light on the Scenic Highway 19A.

The drive from Victoria is 3 hours long and can be made using either Highway 19 or the Scenic Highway 19A.

During peak periods, you may have to wait for the next ferry. Food and drink are available at the Buckley Bay Store and the scenery will relax you in its warm embrace.

The entrance to the Denman Landing is the 1st Driveway on the left as you drive up the Denman Ferry Hill

A note for guests travelling on foot, visit www.islandlink.com for their bus service schedule. They will bring you to Buckley Bay Ferry Terminal . Once you reach Denman Island, just walk 150 feet up the ferry hill. We are the first driveway on your left.
